Our Programs
Jagaran Natya Dal has been conducting programs since its formation. Through our programs we wish to embark on an artistic journey and create awareness among people that art and culture is the need of the hour. Our programs also look forward to provide mass awareness with a motive to eradicate social evils and make this Society a better place to live in.

Bharot-Borsho
Bharot borso is an audio story. In today's world people have lost their sense of individuality and rely on external factors to mask their real self, they feel the need to be included in something which often develops sects of people with biased beliefs. It is the same in case of religion. This audio story portrays the tension between such groups of people and it also shows how insignificance and irrelevance these divisions actually are.

Baji
"Baji" by Jagaran Natya Dal is an unique combination of dance and art in a way to portray the negative effects of using crackers and other polluting elements that are generally used as a source of entertainment and expressing joyous emotions. It is a 5:41 minutes program that tries to educate you on why should fire crackers be avoided and how adversely does it affect our atmosphere.

Borne Borne
"Borne-borne" is an audio stroy written by a renowned writter Balai Chand Mukhopadhyay, which is mainly metaphorical story behind a great realistic point of view. The members of JND performed it through audio drama, colours not only signify beauty it can also bring out discrimination through a metaphor.

Nirubala
"Nirubala" is a poem written by Sanchari Mukhopadhyay recited by one of our member of JND. It mainly signifies a journey of girl named Nirubala. As life is unpredictable, every girl has an untold story, which is driven out through this poem. And it's an spellbound recitation by one of our JND member.

Totakahini
"Tota Kahini" by Jagaran Natya Dal is an audio story , performed on the original piece written by Rabindranath Tagore. A 12:00 program to entertain you in all the possible ways and hence giving you a ride into a nostalgic era, also by sarcastically providing you with the merits and de-merits of our society in terms of educating masses.

Chit Chat - E1
The "Chit Chat" series by Jagaran Natya Dal had begun its first episode with an interaction with the popular actress of the Tollywood Industry- Abantika Biswas. Its main motive is to have a detailed conversation with the professionals of respective fields, and hence know about their struggle and journey on that particular platform. The following session holds a rapid tour down the memory lane and lots and lots of fun and frolic.

Misunderstanding
MISUNDERSTANDING is a story of four youngsters Madhu, Amit, Abhishek and Gita. It revolves around love and relationship among them. They faces a lot of problems and what will be the endings or in which way their lives take turns, it's a mystery.

Lorae
"Lorai" is special performance by the members of JND on the women's day 8th March. It is mainly a portray of women's empowerment through dance and recitation. As feminism is never about dominating or distinguishing men and women, but it's all about gender equality. Our members brought it out vehemently through their amazing expressing words, voices and performances.

Nritya on Beats
Produced by the Dance Team, it showcases the differences in dance forms among the dominant dance forms of different parts of India. It does justice to its title as the dancers dance on the beats of the music. Watch it here.

Potolbabu Filmstar
It is an audio story by Jagaran Natya Dal, on a short story by the maestro Satyajit Roy. This is a story about a pleasant person, who is always free, open minded and has an interesting personality. Short story always have an unexpected ending and Satyajit Roy has done just that. Watch it here.
