When i hear the word 'Chocolate', I get reminded of Captain Bluntschili's dialogue-
" What use are cartridges in battle? I always carry chocolate instead."
This dialogue always reminds me of two things simultaneously- the futility of war and the shared love of human beings for chocolate. This love is what is celebrated today on 7th July- World Chocolate Day or International Chocolate Day.
Who doesn't love chocolate? I'm sorry i shouldn't ask such rhetorical questions. I don't think anyone can exist without loving this rich indulgence. A fun fact- once upon a time, this same chocolate was used as a currency in aztec culture. Can you imagine giving chocolates instead of money? Thank god, this tradition stopped , otherwise i'm pretty sure i would have found myself only saving money!
World Chocolate Day is marked to celebrate both the chocolate and its lovers.
Here's wishing everyone a very HAPPY CHOCOLATE DAY! EAT AS MUCH CHOCOLATE AS YOU WANT TODAY!
